Step-by-Step Procedure:

  1. Select [Bankruptcy>Motions/Applications]

  2. Enter case number and click Next

  3. Select Payment of Unclaimed Funds from pick list and click Next

  4. Select Party from party pick list or Add/create new party, click Next

  5. The Attorney/Party Association screen may display.  If it does, click here. If not, Click Next, and go to step 6.

  6. The following message will appear:

  7. Click Next
  8. The PDF Document selection screen will display
  9. Browse, View and Attach the Notice of Motion and Application - the proposed order must be added as an attachment to the Notice of Motion and Application
  1. Click Yes radio button for Attachment to Document and click Next

  2. Attach Proposed Order, click Next

  1. The following message will appear:

  2. IMPORTANT: Please schedule this motion before Chief Judge Cox, on Tuesdays at 1:30 p.m. on a date when the Judge is sitting. Select the location: Appear in Courtroom 680, 219 S. Dearborn St, Chicago, IL 60604 or using Zoom-Judge Cox.

  1. Click Next

  2. Insert hearing date, time, and location as follows: 

  3. Click Next

  4. The Final Text screen will display.  This is your final opportunity to modify the entry before submitting the filing

  5. Verify the accuracy of the docket text

  6. Click Next to complete the filing process for this event

  7. File the Unclaimed Funds Supporting Documentation


The Notice of Electronic Filling will display. It serves as verification that the filing has been sent electronically to the court.

 

Copies of this notice and the document filed are emailed to all participants who receive electronic notification in the case. You have a period of 15 days for a one time free look at the documents.
